late in the evening from the Frontier Town Campground

well the day started at our friends Dave and Nan's very nice house in DE with an RV with no A/C. A call to a local service station paid off in that they said if we dropped it off they would fit us in before the end of the day. So we had real showers (thank you Dave & Nan!) and Dave & I headed off to drop off the RV before eating breakfast.

Mollie and Lucy stayed behind to eat and maybe walk the dogs. Dave and I shopped at the natural food store right around the corner (found on Google Places) from the garage and then Food Lion. When we returned I found the girls on the couch reading. Lucy quickly fell asleep on the couch once I covered her up with her beach towel. Mollie soon dozed off too.

After my breakfast and their naps Dave & Nan took us to Rehoboth Beach to walk the shops look around. We had lunch at a local pizza place and to my suprise they had GF pizza (which I ordered of course!)

Once we got word the RV was ready we headed to pick it up and pack it up and hit the road. after quick good byes and thank yous to Dave and Nan we pointed the RV toward Ocean City MD.

We checked in at the Frontier Town RV Park, Waterpark and Wild West Shows (among many other offerings!) Julie had visited this waterpark and/or the Frontier Town adventure park growing up. After setting up the RV, Lucy went for a swim in the pool, Mollie took a walk and I prepared some quick dinner (healthy rice noodels and hot dogs).

we caught the 7p shuttle to Ocean City board walk and beach. we walked the board walk and road the antique 1902 carosel that Julie used to ride growing up, each of us ate a sugary product (choc dipped strawberries, ice cream, candied apple) and watched people, shopped the stores, walked the beach (see an earlier pic) and had a great time before catching the 10p shuttle back to the RV.

plans we discussed for tomorrow that appear to be something like this:
Mollie sleeps in
lucy up and swin in pool across from RV
Jay make bacon
jay & Lucy go to water park
Mollie sleep in
check out of RV park
all go to Ocean City and go to beach (if we can find a place to park the RV!)
after beach head for Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
camp somehwere in VA tomorrow night???

planning to head for a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway at some point.

mollie connected with a friend in Charlotte NC so we'll probably connect with the for an evening.
other friends in Atlanta are on the shcedule. Then friends in AL and later New Orleans.
