long day of driving

We started out after 8a from VA Beach and end the day approx 6:30p in Lenoir NC. Lots of miles and a boring day but we needed to cover some ground after an extra day in ocean city. We stopped for lunch and we made lunch in the RV. Turkey & lettuce sandwich for Lucy. Mollie got her own. Fast food avoided yet again! Trying to avoid it if at all possible. Tonight the last of the fresh corn, dog for Lucy and burgers (asgaard) for mollie & me. Mine was fully dressed and delicious. Edamame for Lucy too. I listened to the first part of the sox game while making dinner and Lucy swam and mollie and Lucy then road bikes. This is a very hilly site. No WiFi again tonight so posting from HTC Android phone. Tomorrow to blue ridge parkway & biltmore estate in Asheville. As always subject to change as our interests lead us. Atlanta over the weekend if possible.

    Sounds great so far! Glad you are making use of the rv kitchen and not having to stop for fast food. Mollie, don't forget the sunscreen as you head down south!! Safe travels. :)

    Sounds amazing! My grandmother was from Lenoir, NC...I grew up listening to so many stories about that area. Enjoy Asheville...such a great town! Have fun!
